Partner Spotlight: City Architecture

Whether walking or driving through any of Cleveland’s neighborhoods, you have probably seen the creative and contemporary housing and commercial building designs of City Architecture. The firm, which provides integrated services in architecture, planning, and urban design, has an impressive portfolio of public and private projects that have impacted three decades of development in Northeast Ohio and beyond, enhancing neighborhoods and inspiring communities.

The Cuyahoga Land Bank has worked with City Architecture on several new home construction projects, including two recently built universal design/aging-in-place homes in Cleveland’s Detroit Shoreway neighborhood and several modern classic ranches and modern classic traditional homes in Glenville, South Euclid and Cleveland’s Cudell neighborhood. “City Architecture has been a great partner in the Land Bank’s work to make our communities vibrant, prosperous and sustainable,” says Dennis Roberts, Esq., Director of the Cuyahoga Land Bank’s residential development activities.

“In the past several years, we have worked with the team at City Architecture on a variety of innovative new housing projects,” says Cuyahoga Land Bank Programs Operations Manager Jennifer Vazquez-Norman. “From conception through construction, it’s always a true collaboration.”

“The Land Bank sees the big picture when it comes to infill housing and development,” says Katie Veasey Gillette, Associate Principal at City Architecture. “In our work together, it’s not simply about building on vacant lots. It is about introducing new, beautiful housing options that push communities forward.”
