What motivates you in your work?
Understanding how crucial my role and my tasks are here at the Cuyahoga Land Bank. I’m very serious about my work and care about the importance of my duties. I like working with everyone at my job, they are like a family!
What is the best advice you ever received?
“Prioritize your priorities,” and “Hospitality is everything.”
What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
I am an extreme music geek, raced cars when I was a teenager, and modeled for local clothes designers and hairstylists. I was a back-up DJ at house parties in the ‘80s, and in the ‘90s I danced with a local Hip Hop group.
What’s playing in your car right now?
Mostly Drum and Bass DJ mixes, which is a mixture of Reggae, Electronic, Rock and Hip Hop. I like live bands, too!
What do you do for fun/hobbies?
I enjoy working out (especially spin class) and doing yoga, hanging with friends at sports bars, concerts, playing sports activities, as well as travelling.
What drew you to work at the Cuyahoga Land Bank?
In the past I worked for CDCs and I enjoyed the idea of an organization dedicated to helping beautify our communities.
