Local Activist Named to Cleveland City Council

The Cuyahoga Land Bank congratulates community activist Anita Gardner on being appointed as the interim council representative for Ward 4 on Cleveland City Council. Gardner, the chief executive officer of Concerned Citizens Community Council, was selected by Cuyahoga County Probate Judge Anthony Russo from a field of nearly 20 applicants. “Anita has worked tirelessly in the Mt. Pleasant community,” says Gus Frangos, President and General Counsel for the Cuyahoga Land Bank. “We’ve worked with Anita on a number of community projects and know she will passionately represent the neighborhood.” Ward 4 includes Shaker Square and portions of the Buckeye-Shaker, Woodland Hills, and Mount Pleasant neighborhoods.
