Home Weatherization Assistance Program
Through CHN Housing Partners, Cuyahoga County offers federal- and utility-funded programs to help low-income renters and homeowners lower their energy use. Based on a home inspection, program services can include insulation, air leak reduction, heating and plumbing system repairs and replacements, and health and safety inspections necessary to improve your home’s energy efficiency.

The Ohio Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) is also available to help low-income Ohioans meet the high costs of home heating. A federally funded program administered by the Ohio Department of Development, HEAP provides a one-time payment for Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) regulated utility customers for the winter heating season.
