2023 Habitat Faith-Build Kicks Off
Cuyahoga Land Bank team members joined Greater Cleveland Habitat last month to kick off its latest Faith-Build Initiative on Cleveland’s West Side. Fifteen churches have joined the 2023 Faith Build – giving their prayers, service, and funding to build a home for a Cleveland family. The Faith-Build house is one of five new construction ranch-style homes being built on W. 128th Street in the Bellaire-Puritas neighborhood. Construction on the three-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bath energy-efficient homes will begin in July. The Cuyahoga Land Bank provided the vacant lots and is supporting the project through grant funding through its affiliate Land Bank Charities. James Nichols, Executive Director of Land Bank Charities, said that it supports Habitat on projects such as this that “promote family and neighborhood stability.”
