Thanks to the Cleveland Chapter of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club (we continue to just call them angels!), many disadvantaged children in the Cleveland area will wake up to find shiny new bikes under their Christmas tree this year! This is the third year in a row working with the Angels. A long-standing and philanthropic staple in Cleveland’s St. Clair Superior neighborhood, club members brought 97 brand new bikes and helmets to the Cuyahoga Land Bank in early December to be distributed to children at several partner organizations with missions focused on low-income assistance, single parents, reentry and recovery housing, including Envision Cleveland and Jordan Community Resource Center.
The Angels hope to pass along their love of bikes to a younger generation, along with a little bit of Christmas joy. “This is a great bunch of guys with big hearts for kids and a love of biking. They have been a blessing,” said Gus Frangos, President & General Counsel for the Cuyahoga Land Bank.
