Surrounded by Strength

When an athlete is competing for a prize, it is good to be surrounded by the strength of fellow teammates.  Such is the case with the First Suburbs Consortium which consists of Cleveland’s inner-ring suburbs. The organization held its 20th Year celebration at Music Box Supper Club on October 13, 2016.

Lakewood Mayor Michael Summers was the Master of Ceremonies at the gala event highlighting the accomplishments of our inner-ring suburbs.  The keynote speaker was Andy Billman, Director of ESPN Films, Believeland.  Warrensville Heights Mayor Brad Sellers capped the night by highlighting the strengths and importance of the First Suburbs, and the economic powerhouse that the First Suburbs represents in our County. Combined, the the First Suburbs cities represent more population that the city of Cleveland. These cities provide the economic strength that is a driver of the County’s success.

Mayors Summers and Sellers on several occasions called out the Cuyahoga Land Bank specifically as one of the Consortium’s great partners and change agents throughout the County.

We salute the great work and partnership with our inner-ring suburbs and the First Suburbs Consortium.
