Friends,
The year 2020 certainly wasn’t the year we had expected. The ongoing pandemic has impacted us all in different ways. It has challenged us as individuals and posed additional obstacles for us in our work at the Cuyahoga Land Bank.
Yet, difficult times inspire adaptability and even growth. No doubt this year has required more of our employees in many ways, and I am exceptionally proud of how we as a staff rose to the many challenges that came our way. Our team is simply the best!
I want to acknowledge our board members for their leadership during these unprecedented times and thank our many partners for their ongoing collaboration. I’d also like to recognize the many generous friends that supported our partners in need through our Land Bank Charities this year. It was an exceptionally difficult year for our non-profit friends, and your kindness and compassion are inspiring.
As I reflect on the past year, I am thankful for a fulfilling year and a joyous holiday season. I wish you all health, happiness, and peace during this Christmas holiday season and through the coming year.
