For the 9th year in a row, the Cuyahoga Land Bank has received a perfect audit from the Ohio State Auditor’s Office. The five-week annual audit is required of all county land banks. It examines all of the operations of the Cuyahoga Land Bank, its financial systems, its accounting procedures and outcomes as well as all of its personnel and financial obligations. The State of Ohio Auditor awarded the organization its Auditor of State award for its clean audit report.
“We take very seriously the quality and integrity of our accounting, auditing and financial reporting practices,” said Cuyahoga Land Bank President Gus Frangos. “Because of the complexity of our work, it is imperative that we safeguard our financial assets to maintain the trust of our stakeholders, partners and the residents of Cuyahoga County.”
