15-Year Economic Impact Analysis

Over the past decade and a half, the Land Bank has demolished more than 10,000 blighted properties, renovated over 2,600 homes, and facilitated the construction of almost 250 new residences. These efforts have not only increased property values and improved public safety but have also catalyzed private investment and generated property tax revenue.

The total economic impact of the Land Bank’s activities is an impressive $3.6 billion. This achievement underscores the importance of our continued collaboration as we work toward a brighter, more equitable, and prosperous future for Cuyahoga County.

Redeveloping Ohio Landfills

Together, the Cuyahoga Land Bank and West Creek Conservancy created this document to present information to help communities understand regulatory obligations tied to landfills and provide some insight into what these facilities could become with some creative thinking and community support.

10 Year Economic Impact Analysis (2019)

After 10 years and over 2,000 home renovations, 9,000 demolitions, and over 60 partner organizations, the Cuyahoga Land Bank experiment has proven to be an enormous success and has improved the quality of life in our community.
