At the Cuyahoga Land Bank, we believe that by approaching demolition of vacant, abandoned properties strategically, we can make a positive impact on our community and its future.
We recently worked with Benedictine High School to tear down an eyesore property directly next to the school and transferred that land over to Benedictine for future development. Benedictine High School President Father Gerard Gonda shared his appreciation for the work we did on this testimonial video:
We are also in the process of working with the Polish American Cultural Center to help bring a vision of a Polish Cultural Garden to life behind the Center. In order to accomplish this task, we have helped the PACC acquire and assemble a handful of parcels of land that all had vacant, abandoned properties on them and have demolished almost all of the structures to clear the way for the garden.
