Chief Operating Officer Bill Whitney has announced his plan to retire in June. Bill’s leaving marks the end of an era for the Cuyahoga Land Bank, as he has been an integral part of the team since its creation in 2009.
“Bill has been instrumental in shaping the Cuyahoga Land Bank to the force of change that it is today,” said Gus Frangos, President and General Counsel. “His leadership has taken our organization through its development and considerable growth during a critical time in Cuyahoga County. His expertise in housing acquisition, disposition, and federal regulatory practices has been essential, and his commitment to maintaining the quality and integrity of our accounting practices has ensured that the funds of the organization have been spent properly and efficiently. We are well-positioned for continued success due in large part to Bill’s leadership and vision.”
We know you all join us in wishing Bill well as he starts a new chapter. Bill and his wife, Sandy, plan to begin Bill’s retirement with a trip to Scotland and England in July.
