The county land bank was featured positively in a recent report from the Center for Community Progress, a Washington, D.C.-based think-tank that advocates for policies to fight urban and community blight.
The report offered profiles of seven different land bank organizations across the country. A section about Cuyahoga County praises the land bank’s “strong leadership” and professionalism.
“As one of the fastest-growing land banks in the nation, the Cuyahoga Land Bank is well-positioned to continue posting gains in the fight against blight in one of the areas hit hardest by the fallout of the Great Recession,” the report states.
