Residents, friends and curious Greater Clevelanders gathered at the Mickey’s Building in East Cleveland in late August for an Ice Cream Social to meet, mingle and discover the blossoming new Circle East District. Beyond indulging in gourmet ice cream sundaes, attendees enjoyed performances by local artists and learned about the Cuyahoga Land Bank’s Circle East District project, which will create a unique and inclusive neighborhood that will include new city infrastructure, 200 new energy-efficient homes and a vibrant commercial mixed-use corridor along Euclid Avenue at the gateway to University Circle.
The event was part of 18 months of artistic programming with Ingenuity Cleveland to bring together current residents and prospective new residents in the city.
