What motivates you in your work?
Designing maps! Then, designing better ones. My research and maps have helped the Cuyahoga Land Bank make better, more informed decisions on so many projects, from small to large and everything in between. Watching a project develop from a spreadsheet to a map, to a shovel in the ground is one of the most gratifying feelings.
What is the best advice you ever received?
“Fake confidence until you have confidence.”
What is one thing that people would be surprised to know about you?
I flew a plane before I drove a car (the confidence bit doesn’t apply here).
What’s playing in your car right now and what show is #1 on your DVR?
The rhythmic sounds of the RTA Red Line and Black Books on Hulu.
What do you do for fun/hobbies?
Concerts, traveling and playing music. Also, brunch.
What drew you to work at the Cuyahoga Land Bank?
The opportunity to work with at an agency that has a direct and immediate effect on the city that I’ve come to love so much.
