Describe yourself in three words
Looking for lunch.

What motivates you in your work?
I get to wear many hats. One minute I am involved in complex spatial economic statistical research demonstrating our impact, the next I am editing this newsletter, the next I am troubleshooting computer or network issues, the next I am doing analysis to determine the best properties to recommend for tax foreclosure, the next I am attending important community meetings, the next I am designing software to help our land bank and other land banks manage their operations, etc.

What is the best advice you ever received?
Part of success is just showing up.

What is one thing that people would be surprised to know about you?
I played trombone in the Penn State Blue Band for five seasons (yes, five) and I am currently a cantor at St. Bridget of Kildare in Parma at the 10 a.m. and noon masses on Sunday.

What’s playing in your car right now?
Musicals, polka, and/or piano driven rock.

What do you do for fun/hobbies?
Home improvement projects.

What drew you to work at the Cuyahoga Land Bank?
The ability to use data to take action in real time to help revitalize neighborhoods.
