Cuyahoga Land Bank Charities, Inc., the charitable arm of the Cuyahoga Land Bank, is pleased to announce James Nichols has been selected as the new executive director of the 501(c)3 nonprofit. Nichols will provide visionary leadership, capacity building, project management, and fund development in support of the Land Bank Charities’ mission.
Cuyahoga Land Bank Charities promotes and assists other charitable organizations that provide wrap-around services to agencies serving special populations. Land Bank Charities focuses on working with non-profit and faith-based organizations to bring housing to housing insecure individuals and families.
Nichols brings a multi-faceted background with more than 11 years as a military officer and a combined seven years as a pastor, business owner, and nonprofit consultant. As a mission-driven U.S. Air Force Veteran, Nichols served as Executive Director and Senior Advisor to the Air Force CEO of Community Relations. As a pastor and a church counselor, he provided strategic direction for organizational and leadership development to increase health and communication within multiple churches.
