Over the first 15 years of the Land Bank’s work, new construction homes contributed about $143 million in property value increases, with each new home adding an average of $588,000 to local property values. The Land Bank renovation of more than 2,600 homes over the same time period increased surrounding property values by about $358,000 and increased property values across Cuyahoga County by about $950 million.
